THE VERDICT
An independent Premier League commission found Manchester City guilty of every serious financial charge brought against them, covering 2009/10 to 2017/18, plus most of the charges of failing to co-operate with the investigation.
WHAT WAS FOUND
The commission found revenues were inflated and costs reduced by more than £900 million, and that parts of sponsorship fees were secretly funded by the owners' parent company.
WHAT'S NEXT
The punishment goes to a separate, private hearing: fines, points deductions and expulsion are all possible, with no tariff set. City say they are innocent, call the decision unsafe, and will appeal by the 2 October deadline.
