THE APPEAL
On 1 October 2026 Manchester City lodged their appeal against the commission's verdict, saying they are innocent and the ruling is "unsafe". A new, independent Appeal Board will hear it. No sanction has been set.
ETIHAD
Etihad Airways, City's main sponsor, "categorically rejects" any improper arrangement and is considering legal action against the Premier League.
